Hi, I'm Jen. My husband and I have been married for 2 years. Nine months ago we bought our first home. It was a foreclosure we bought from a live auction that was completely trashed! We didn't care at all, because that meant we could start from scratch, and make it ours. Since we are poor newly-weds we have been fixing up everything on a low budget, which means I shop thrift stores, alot. My husband is a handyman at heart & can figure out how to do just about everything, and I love to decorate, craft, & paint. We have crazy busy lifes (you know, two jobs each & church callings), but together we are making our house just the way we want it. I love working on this blog, because I am always very excited to show the world each project along the way, and I hope to be able to teach other's as I learn from many mistakes of my own. Please don't make them too!
